A Woman Charged After Belt Attack on Boy at Florida School.

After being recorded on video beating a boy in a Florida school, a lady has been charged with child abuse.

According to local television news station WTVJ, Kady Ann Sewell, 33, was caught on surveillance film allegedly entering Florida City’s Bethel Seventh Day Adventist private school and striking a youngster with a belt during school hours on Thursday.

According to the TV station, the boy’s mother, Zender Pollard, said the incident resulted in a busted lip.

According to Pollard, the attack occurred after the youngster was bullied by Sewell’s son.

The TV station said her son had called to tell her that another youngster was bullying and “fat-shaming” him, causing her son to pick up the child and place him back on his feet.

According to WTVJ, Sewell returned to the school to strike Pollard’s child with a belt later that day.

According to a video obtained by the television station, the youngster was at a table with other students when she repeatedly struck him with a belt.

“My child’s mother enters, fussing and shouting at him and slapping him! His head, face, arms, and legs, “Pollard stated to the news organization.

Because her kid had a history of seizures, she said the occurrence required her to take him to the hospital.

“My son may have died if he had a seizure. Anything. You’re just smacking him in the face, “she stated

Sewell was charged with child abuse without serious physical harm, educational interference, and trespassing in a school safety zone.

A judge has also issued a restraining order against Sewell. Pollard has stated that she intends to pursue legal action.

The school started in a statement to WFOR-TV that they are collaborating with law enforcement.

“Our students are our top priority,” the statement said, “and we are surprised and saddened to learn of this regrettable situation.”

Pollard was perplexed as to how Sewell could gain access to the school and allegedly assault her child.

“How did this lady get this far? She often smacked my child and walked out peacefully,” she told WTVJ. “My child was in danger. My son was bullied first by her son, then by her mother.”

Florida City is a small city in South Florida, just north of the Florida Keys, with about 12,000 people.
