Activision Refutes Report About Call of Duty 2023 Report

Activision Refutes Report About Call of Duty 2023 Report:  This isn’t the first time the Call of Duty series has been hit. Call of Duty: Vanguard didn’t seem popular with its fans, even though it still sold a lot. With all of the bad press that Call of Duty has been getting. Many people think the company should take a year off to make a better game.

This news came out today. Call of Duty 2023 is taking a one-year break. The news was met with mixed feelings. But most people thought it was a good idea because they thought it was right. Activision has now responded to these claims and said they aren’t true.

In the beginning, it said that Call of Duty would take a break in 2023 and keep supporting Call of Duty: Vanguard and Warzone. Tom Henderson and Jason Schreier at Bloomberg first reported this.

Also, it said that Activision would develop a product to put out while they were looking for a new game to make. Since 2005, there hasn’t been a new Call of Duty game. Bloomberg first reported on the story, but it later added the statement from Activision.

The statement doesn’t deny that the 2023 Call of Duty game has officially delayed, but it doesn’t outright deny that the idea is true.

The statement also doesn’t say what will happen next for the franchise, but it sounds like it’s sure there will be some Call of Duty content in 2023.

Call of Duty: Vanguard hasn’t done well with fans. A lot of new content added to Vanguard and Warzone every day. While the franchise is still dealing with internal and in-game problems.

People have always thought the 2022 game would be a follow-up to the Modern Warfare reboot. That came out in 2019 and a follow-up to the free Warzone 2 Battle Royale mode that came out in 2018.

Treyarch, the company that would make the 2023 Call of Duty game, would still help develop Warzone 2. But its main goal would be to use the extra time to make the Call of Duty game coming out in 2024.

The first report said that the decision not to release a Call of Duty game in 2023 not made because Microsoft recently bought the company. Even after the deal done in Summer 2023, Activision will still run on its own. Time will tell how the company plans to deal with Call of Duty in 2023 and after that.

Call of Duty 2022 worked on right now, and Call of Duty 2023 rumor to push back.
