African Arrested for Smuggling Cocaine Worth Rs 10 Crore In Stomach: Mumbai Police.
A man from Mozambique in Africa was detained at Mumbai international airport allegedly with 1.02 kg of cocaine valued at Rs 10 crore hidden in his stomach in capsule form, the Office of Narcotics Control said on Tuesday.

An OCN team detained Fumo Emanuel Zedequias at the airport at 2 am Sunday, according to an advisory about a drug “mule” (someone who is smuggling) smuggling high-value cocaine, an official said.
“During his interrogation, we discovered that the man had swallowed 70 capsules full of cocaine. He requested medical help, so we rushed him to the JJ Hospital in Byculla. The contraband, identified as South American cocaine, was discharged from the body in ten attempts, the last of which took place on Tuesday morning, “he said.
“The total weight of the recovered cocaine was 1,029 kg. This is one of the largest contraband seizures of the body of a transporter,” the official said, adding that further investigations were underway.
