Bollywood actor Akshay Kumar recently traveled to Nashik from Mumbai by helicopter. This led to problems since the actor’s trip during the running of the bulls has raised doubts about acquiring permission to travel. The civilian food and supplies minister and district guardian minister Chhagan Bhujbal have reportedly ordered an investigation into the actor’s air travel permit and staying at a resort during the ongoing blockade.
However, Akshay Kumar has now reacted to all the controversy. “He had the necessary permits and had gone to meet Dr. Ashraf. And the Nashik Police Commissioner gave him Praman Patra, ”the actor’s statement read.
Meanwhile, after Akshay Kumar’s visit, Bhujbal spoke to the media on Saturday morning and said, “I have asked the district collector to investigate the permits issued for his helicopter, to remain in Trimbakeshwar and why the city of Nashik provided their escort when their tour was in the rural part of the district.”
