Alabama church shooting kills 2 and 1 injured.
According to authorities, two people were murdered. A third was injured in a shooting at a church in a Birmingham suburb on Thursday night. A suspect, who has not been identified, has been apprehended.
At 6:22 p.m. local time, the Vestavia Hills Police Department received a report of an active shooter at Saint Stephen’s Episcopal Church.

Vestavia Hills police Capt. Shane Ware stated that three persons were shot on Thursday night. Two of them have died, while the third is undergoing medical treatment.
According to Ware, the suspect entered the church and started a fire during a group gathering. The church announced on its website that a potluck would be held between 5 and 7 p.m.
Ware did not disclose any suspected motivation or further information about the shooting’s circumstances.
However, he did say that police think there is no ongoing danger to the neighborhood.
Additionally, how the individual was arrested was not disclosed.
Several federal and local authorities, including the FBI and the US Marshals Service, assisted in the investigation.
