American Grant Holloway won 110 meters hurdles at the World Championships.

Grant Holloway of the United States successfully defended his 110-meter hurdles title on Sunday at the World Championships in Eugene, Oregon.

In the end, Holloway finished in 13.03 seconds faster than his countrymen Trey Cunningham and Asier Martinez of Spain.

Olympic champion from Jamaica Hansle Parchment missed the final because of an injury he sustained during warm-ups. At the same time, global leader Devon Allen was eliminated for a false start.
