Amitabh Bachchan Receive First Dose of COVID-19 Vaccine

Bollywood megastar Amitabh Bachchan has been vaccinated against COVID-19. Big B revealed the news on his social media and on his blog, saying that he and his family received the first dose of the vaccine, in addition to his son Abhishek Bachchan, who is on-site for a movie filming.

On Twitter, 78-year-old Amitabh shared: “I did it! My Covid-19 vaccination this afternoon … All good … ? “. The actor along with his son Abhishek, his daughter-in-law Aishwarya Rai Bachchan and his granddaughter Aradhya tested positive for the virus last year.

On his Tumblr blog, he wrote: “DONE … vaccination done … all good … I did the Covid test for family and staff yesterday … results came in today … all good, all negative … this is how the vaccine was made … the whole family made except Abhishek … will be at the scene and will do so upon his return soon in a few days. ”

He added, “Tomorrow back to work … see you … oh … the whole vaccination procedure needs a fairly detailed exclusive Blog … I’ll do it … later … it was historic !! ”

Bachchan had his first eye surgery in February and had his second eye surgery in March.

On the work front, Amitabh is looking forward to the release of the mystery thriller Chehre. Chehre was supposed to hit theaters on April 9, but has now been delayed indefinitely. It stars Emraan Hashmi, Annu Kapoor, Raghubir Yadav, Rhea Chakraborty, and Krystle D’Souza.

Amitabh Bachchan also has a few other films in the pipeline. He will be seen in the epic action-adventure fantasy film Brahmastra, starring Alia Bhatt and Ranbir Kapoor at the helm. He also has Jhund and Mayday in his kitty. He was last seen in Shoojit Sircar’s Gulabo Sitabo alongside Ayushmann Khurrana.

He completed his 52 years in the film industry on February 15, 2021. He had signed his first film, Saat Hindustani, in 1969 on the same day.
