Official sources told PTI that all 24 ministers in Andhra Pradesh’s Cabinet resigned to Chief Minister YS Jagan Mohan Reddy on Thursday (April 7).
The move comes before the planned changes to the Council of Ministers in Andhra Pradesh. After the last meeting of the Cabinet at the State Secretariat, the ministers handed over their resignation letters to CM Reddy.
It took the ministers 34 months to serve in the government of Andhra Pradesh, but they did it.

The news agency said it would add a new member to the Council of Ministers on April 11.
As ANI sources say, only four of the current Ministers are likely to keep their jobs when the Cabinet is reshuffled. According to some sources, Reddy will send the final list of new Ministers to the governor of Andhra Pradesh before April 9. The new Andhra Pradesh Cabinet might also have five deputy CMs.
People say that on Wednesday night, CM Reddy met with Governor Harichandan, and they talked about how to change the cabinet. The Andhra Pradesh CM also gave the Governor the final list of the 19 Ministers leaving the Cabinet, ANI sources say.
The reshuffle of the Andhra Pradesh Cabinet was supposed to happen last December but put back because of the Covid-19 virus. There will be a reorganization of the Cabinet after the Telugu New Year, on April 2. Reddy said that last month.
