“It is reported that the new test will not start on May 3, 2021. The new date of the new test will be announced shortly with the revised schedule,” a statement read on the university’s website.

Students who were unable to sit for the semester exams earlier would have appeared for the new tests as of May 3 via online mode.

More, the university affirmed that students can consult both the course material and from the web. “However, getting responses from others in any shape or form and group discussions will be considered negligence,” the notice read.

Previously, the university had announced that the April / May 2021 end-of-semester theory exams will be online open-book for undergraduate (UG) and graduate (PG) students. Also, this would be for all semesters.

Not just Anna University, IIT Madras has also postponed his semester exams and even online tests. According to a press release, an official said the new exam dates will be released later after considering how the pandemic situation is being addressed or managed.
