Former Mumbai Police Commissioner Param Bir Singh appeared today before the National Investigative Agency or NIA in Mumbai to record his statement regarding the case of an explosives-laden SUV found near the residence of industrialist Mukesh Ambani, he said. An official.

The Press Trust of India news agency reported that according to sources, Param Bir Singh was subpoenaed by the NIA to record his statement in the case.

Last month, the NIA arrested Assistant Police Inspector Sachin Waze for his alleged role in placing explosives in the vehicle near Mukesh Ambani’s home in South Mumbai.

He also arrested suspended police officer Vinayak Shinde and cricket bookmaker Naresh Gor in connection with the murder of Mansukh Hiran, whose body was found in the Mumbra stream in Thane on March 5.
