Mr. Thakur said that today when he spoke to the media, “Congress doesn’t look outside of the Gandhi family, but it does look at other people. There were no seats for Rahul Gandhi when he took charge. It didn’t work out well when Priyanka Gandhi took over Uttar Pradesh. She lost a lot of money and only won two seats. As of now, Sonia Gandhi is in charge of the party again.”

The Union Minister said that the same questions about what is going on in the Congress and whether they will only work with one family had been asked for years.

Asked about rising inflation, he said that Congress doesn’t know the answer to its question.

She called for “unity at all levels” of the party at a meeting of Congress MPs on Tuesday, where she talked about the party’s “shocking and painful” election losses. She also slammed the government to ” target the opposition” and “spreading maximum fear and intimidation.”

As for Mamata Banerjee, Mr Thakur called her out by saying that India’s economic situation is worse than Sri Lanka’s, which is having an economic crisis right now.

“If you look at the world and our neighbouring countries right now, you will see that India has chosen the right person to be its leader, which has led the country to grow.” He said.

Mr Thakur said that the government’s COVID vaccination campaign was an example of this “In the middle of the (COVID) pandemic, the government tried to save and grow the economy of the country. A long time ago, we gave away food grains. Vaccines have been given to more than 80 million people who are poor for no charge. All of this has happened because Prime Minister Narendra Modi ji has been in charge of things.”

On Tuesday, the 13th time fuel prices have been changed in 15 days, the prices of both petrol and diesel went up by 80 paise each.

Fuel prices have gone up by 9.20 per gallon because of this.

Petrol and diesel in Delhi now cost 104.61 and 95.87 per litre, the same price as before. While in Mumbai, petrol cost 119.67 per litre, up 84 paise, and diesel was 103.92, up 85 paise.
