Bangladesh came forward to help India fighting with Corona.

The second wave of corona infection has hit India. The world’s largest vaccine-producing country has deteriorated. In such a situation, Bangladesh extended a helping hand to deal with the crisis.

At a press conference in Dhaka on Thursday, the Foreign Ministry said Bangladesh was sending emergency medicine and medical equipment to India to combat the Corona epidemic.

According to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, 10,000 injectable antivirals, oral antivirals, 30,000 PPE kits, and a few thousand zinc in the first phase. Bangladesh will also send calcium and vitamin C tablets.

On average, more than three and a half lakh people are infected with the coronavirus daily in India. The daily death toll has passed 3,000 marks. The Bangladeshi government has expressed its deep regret over India’s death due to Covid 19. According to the Foreign Ministry, Bangladesh supports its friend and neighbor India during this crisis.

Meanwhile, Bangladesh has approved the use of the Chinese corona vaccine in the country in an emergency. Major General Mahbubur Rahman, director-general of the Department of Drug Administration, said this on Thursday. “The sinoform vaccine has been approved for emergency use,” he said.

One should take the second dose 28 days after the first dose of this vaccine. “Previously, the Hasina government allowed the emergency use of Russia’s ‘Sputnik-V’ vaccine in the country. Corona vaccination is underway in the country with the Oxford-AstraZeneca vaccine produced by the Serum Institute of India.

However, due to the new vaccine supply crisis, the government has taken steps to bring in Sputnik-V vaccines from Russia and Synoform from China.
