Rahul Gandhi, the leader of the Congress, launched the “Bharat Jodo Yatra” on Wednesday from Kanyakumari in Tamil Nadu.
Bhupesh Baghel, the chief minister of Chhattisgarh, claimed in a speech to the public that supporters of British policies are sowing discord and trying to split the nation.
He said that Rahul Gandhi started his padyatra from the revered city of Kanyakumari to once again promote the virtues of fraternity and togetherness and draw attention to issues affecting ordinary people.

The chief minister had previously visited Gandhi Mandapam in Kanyakumari, Tamil Nadu, and paid respects at the Thiruvalluvar Memorial.
The Chief Minister stated that Vivekananda assumed leadership from Kanyakumari and sent a message of unity to the globe at the Chicago convention.
Likewise, Gandhi delivered his message of peace and fraternity at this location.
About the BJP, he said that only those who support British policies are spreading poison across the nation. Moreover, they are eroding the nation’s sense of fraternity and solidarity.
Rahul Gandhi initiated the Bharat Jodo Yatra to draw attention to the fundamental issues facing the nation’s working class, poor, Dalit, and tribal populations.
