BJP MP Sahendra Ramala, a candidate for the party’s vehicle, was targeted at Baghpat’s Chhaprauli.
The dung of cows was thrown at the vehicle, and it was also pelted with rocks, BJP workers alleged.
BJP officials said that they were taking a procession to support the BJP candidate as cow dung cakes and cow dung were thrown at vehicles.
The report claimed that the convoy was hit with stones, and when it got close to the RLD office, the party workers protested by throwing flags, resulting in a dispute between the two sides.
The incident was handled by police who were on the scene.
SHO Vinod Kumar has confirmed the incident; however, he has not received the full report yet.
Based on the photos taken by police, the perpetrators will be identified, and strict actions will be initiated against them, The SHO said.
