Blessing Muzarabani is going to join the Lucknow Super Giants

There will be no more search for a replacement for injured England paceman Mark Wood. Zimbabwe fast bowler Blessing Muzarabani will join the KL Rahul-led Lucknow Super Giants.

As a replacement for Indian Premier League (IPL) debutants, Muzarabani is the second-choice choice. Bangladesh pacer Taskin Ahmed was not given a NOC by his home board.

In the IPL 2022 mega auction last month, Mark Wood was bought by LSG for Rs 7.5 crore. He was ruled out of this year’s IPL tournament because he injured his right elbow.

Lucknow Super Giants (LSG) is going to sign him. Either as Mark Wood’s replacement or as a bowler in the net. I don’t know for sure when he will be in India, but, likely, he will soon be in India to play for the Lucknow franchise.

There is a Twitter account for the Indian Ambassador in Zimbabwe. It confirmed that the Zimbabwean pace bowler was leaving for India to play in a money-making league.

Many people don’t know for sure whether Muzarabani will be taking his place or he will be joining the team as an extra bowler.

Ambassador met with Zimbabwean bowler Blessing Muzarabani as he was about to leave for the IPL2022. Amb. wished him and his team, the #LucknowSuperGiants, “the very best.”

As a member of the Bangladesh Cricket Board, this person said the board isn’t sure about giving Taskin a “No-Objection Certificate.”

We don’t want him to play in the IPL because we have a tour of South Africa and a home series against Sri Lanka, so we don’t think it’s right for him to play in the IPL.

“We’ve talked to Taskin, and he understands everything. It was clear to the team that he would not play in the IPL, but he told them that he would be available for the South Africa tour and then come back home.

The BCB hasn’t made up its mind about giving Taskin the NOC yet. He has taken 23 wickets in 33 T20Is. Taskin plays in a three-match ODI series against South Africa that ends on March 23.

The fast bowler is also set to play in the two-match Test series against the Proteas, starting on March 28.
