Bomb blast in Pakistan’s Lahore: 4 dead, 28 injured. 

Lahore: On Thursday, a bomb explosion ripped through Lahore’s crowded market, killing four people and injuring more than 28 others, police said.

Arif Rana, a police spokesperson, told Reuters that it was a bomb explosion. He said that a time device rigged for a motorcycle exploded in front of a market shop.

He said that a nine-year-old boy was among the three deceased.

In a text message to a reporter, a newly formed separatist group in southwestern Balochistan claimed responsibility.

The attack was on a bank, it said. However, the police said they were investigating, and it was too early to connect to the Pakistan Super League (PSL).
