It has been a good start for Rohit Sharma, the new captain of India since he took over from Virat Kohli. When he was in charge, India recently beat the West Indies (ODIs and T20Is) and Sri Lanka (T20Is and Tests) on home soil with ease.
Rohit has started well as India captain, but Brad Hogg says that the 33-year-old hasn’t led his team against top teams like Australia, who will visit India this year for four Tests.

Hogg thinks Rohit’s biggest test will come when he plays against the big teams and at the T20 World Cup in Australia this year.
“In India, they have played four Tests against Australia so far. Having to do that is going to be a lot for Rohit Sharma. If I can, I want to see him in trouble. Will he still have clear body language when we look at him? He will play South Africa in a T20 series at home, go on a tour of England, and play in the T20 World Cup in Australia next year, among other things. So, Rohit has to deal with a lot of pressure right now, “Video: Hogg said in a video on his YouTube account.
Rohit will now be able to show off his skills in the Indian Premier League, which starts in June. India’s international games are set to start again in June (IPL).
In the past, Rohit has led Mumbai Indians (MI) to a record five IPL titles. This season, he will be hoping to lead his team to the playoffs after failing to do so in the past.
MI will play Delhi Capitals in their first match of the IPL 2022 season on March 27, which is on Sunday.
