Britain is working to provide more excellent military assistance to Ukraine. 

LONDON: The capital of the United Kingdom, Britain, is currently working on a plan for economic and military aid to Ukraine in the face of a Russian attack increase according to a spokesperson for the government on Sunday.

Prime Secretary Boris Johnson will make a trip to Europe in the coming weeks to garner support for ending the conflict with Russia. 

While there were no specifics of the location, Johnson will go to the country. His office stated that he intended to build relationships and more Nordic and Baltic countries.

“The tensions at the Ukrainian border have reached a critical point. Everything we know suggests that Russia may be in the process of contemplating an invasion of Ukraine at any time,” the spokesperson said.

The United States and Britain have declared that Russian President Vladimir Putin could order an attack before the Winter Olympics on February 20.

It would be the most significant security crisis in Europe for many years. Russia is home to more than 100,000 soldiers at the Ukrainian border.

It has denied allegations of a plan to invade and has been accused by Western states of spreading falsehoods to distract them from their aggressive actions.

The spokesperson stated that Johnson worked with his allies to develop the support package in support of Ukraine to be soon announced.

Britain has been providing anti-tank guns and training personnel to Ukraine. However, the troops were told to leave the country at the end of last week.

“There remains the chance to take advantage of diplomatic de-escalation, and the president will continue to tirelessly work together with our partners to force Russia to stay off the edge,” the spokesperson said.

The support of Britain for Ukraine is happening when Johnson is dealing with the most challenging domestic political situation of his presidency. 

It has police investigating lockdowns in his Downing Street office and residence. In addition, the police are interrogating johnson.

The accusations of rule-breaking have affected Johnson’s authority and prompted confident lawmakers of Johnson’s majority Conservative Party and opposition leaders to demand Johnson to step down.
