Bungie Hires Former League of Legends Director: Bungie currently bought from Sony at $3.6 billion. The agreement gives Bungie autonomy and independence. And Sony has even offered incentives to stop Bungie employees from quitting.
As a result of this agreement, there’s an inflow of money flowing into Bungie.
This is likely to lead to some new employees being hired since Bungie has recruited an ex-Riot Games employee who was Director of League of Legends Animated Shorts.

Bungie is hiring Derick Tsai, the director of League of Legends Animated Shorts at Riot Games. Tsai’s Linkedin profile has updated to indicate that He is the Head of Development at Destiny Universe Transmedia at Bungie.
Destiny Universe Transmedia refers to films, TV animation, books, comics, and audio.
It appears that Bungie intends to broaden their Destiny IP into film and television. The arrangement with Sony is sure to permit this. Sony is also transforming its IP into TV shows.
The Uncharted film will release soon, and a Twisted Metal show is currently in the making. The presence of someone who has helped to create short films to promote League of Legends will undoubtedly benefit Bungie.
Arcane is a Netflix show based on League of Legends that gained praise from critics.
A Destiny film or television show could be beneficial to new fans trying to join the popular franchise for the first time.
There’s not yet an official announcement about when any Transmedia properties will made available for purchase.
