CBI arrests builder Avinash Bhosale in Yes Bank-DHFL Fraud Case

The CBI has arrested Pune-based builder Avinash Bhosale. Avinash Bhosale had previously been questioned about several cases. The CBI apprehended Avinash Bhosale.

In the DHFL scam, they filed a case against him. In the Yes Bank and DHFL fraud case, the Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) raided the house and some builder properties of Avinash Bhosale last month and seized important documents.

Avinash Bhosale is believed to have been arrested in the same case. Sanjay Chhabria, a businessman, had already been charged with the fraud.

The Enforcement Directorate (ED) had assets worth around Rs 40.34 crore attached from Bhosale and his family last year.

Bhosale is a builder and the father-in-law of Vishwajit Kadam, Minister of State for Agriculture. In Mumbai and Pune, he runs a large manufacturing company.

Bhosale, who is close to all of the party’s leaders, was previously detained by the Customs department at the airport for smuggling valuables from abroad.
