According to reports, the Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) conducts searches at P Chidambaram’s home and office in Delhi, Mumbai, Chennai, and Sivagangai in Tamil Nadu.
In connection with a case against his son Karti Chidambaram, the Congress MP from Sivaganga, searches are being undertaken at roughly seven of the former Union Minister’s properties throughout these cities.

According to reports, a new complaint has been filed against Karti Chidambaram for suspected overseas remittances made between 2010 and 2014.
Karti Chidambaram is being investigated in many issues, including involving the Foreign Investment Promotion Board (FIPB) permitting INX Media to receive 305 crores in foreign funding when his father was the finance minister.
