Chicago: While the United States debates tougher gun-control legislation, numerous shootouts occurred in Chicago on Saturday (local time), killing five people and injuring 16.
According to authorities, at least five people have been murdered, and another 16 have been wounded in gunshots around Chicago this weekend.
According to investigators, a 37-year-old woman was shot and murdered in the 0-100 block of South Albany at roughly 12:19 a.m. Saturday.
Unknown criminals fired bullets at the victim as she was a passenger in a car before fleeing to an undisclosed location.

The victim received multiple gunshot wounds and was brought to the University of Chicago Medical Center in serious condition.
