Continuous Rain is Coming to West Bengal for the next few days

West Bengal weather today: The meteorological office heard the news of relief for the Bengalis who were boiled in the heat. The people of Bengal got the good news of the arrival of rain at the beginning of the new year. The rain is expected to continue from the end of this week to the beginning of next week, the weather office said.

Within the next 24 hours, the effects of this rain will begin to appear in South Bengal. Jhargram, Bankura, West Burdwan, West Midnapore, Purulia, Birbhum, Murshidabad are likely to receive showers with thunderstorms with winds of 30 to 40 kmph. Then by Sunday, a similar situation may arise in Murshidabad, Nadia, West Burdwan, and Birbhum.

On the other hand, heavy rain is forecast in several parts of southern Bengal from Friday to next Tuesday. Kalimpong, Alipurduar, Kochbihar, Darjeeling, Jalpaiguri, Dui Dinajpur, Malda with strong winds and thunderstorms at 40 to 50 km per hour. There is a possibility of light rain in the rest of the area.

The maximum temperature in Kolkata on Friday was around 35 degrees Celsius and the minimum was around 28 degrees Celsius. The weather office said there could be partly sunny skies in some areas in the morning and clear skies at night.

Even if the maximum temperature drops slightly today, the minimum temperature may not change. However, light cloudy skies have been seen around Kolkata since Friday morning. However, the sun will appear as the day progresses.
