Covid Cases Upward Again in West Bengal:189 New Infection Found in Last 24 Hours

According to the health department on Tuesday evening, 189 people were infected with a corona in the state in one day. This number was 146 on Monday. Among the new victims, 63 are residents of Kolkata. 59 daily infected residents of North 24 Parganas have been traced. However, no casualties were reported in West Midnapore and South Dinajpur during this period. Meanwhile, the total number of corona victims in Bengal increased to 5 lakh, 64 thousand 99 people.
Many people have recovered from the hands of health workers and doctors. Already 5 lakh 80 thousand 448 people have been freed from covid in the state. Of these, 228 have won in the last 24 hours. Which is much more than the daily infected. As a result, the number of active patients has decreased a lot. According to the health department, the number of corona patients under treatment in the state stood at 3,399 till Tuesday. The recovery rate of this state is much higher. The state’s recovery rate on Tuesday was 98.62 percent.
In Bengal, the administration raised concerns about the death rate in Corona. The state health department was even warned on behalf of the Center. Doctors and health workers in the state have been able to curb the death rate since the beginning of this year. In the last 24 hours, only two people have died in Corona in this state. They are residents of Kamimpong and Purulia. Significantly, the death toll in Kolkata for the last 48 hours is zero. As a result, the total death toll in the state rose to 10,253.
