Super Cyclone Yaas is going to landfall very soon on Balasore, Odisha. 

Cyclone Yaas is going to landfall very soon on the coasts of Orissa. The Yash cyclone speed in this area may reach 150 to 185 kilometers per hour, along with extreme rainfall. According to cyclone Yaas live tracking IMD, we have mentioned the locations and its time when the storm Yash will make landfall.

Yaas Cyclone Landfall Time

26 May, at 9 AM – 10 AM: Cyclone yaas going to landfall in the coastal area of Balasore in Orissa.

26 May, at 10 AM – 11 AM: Storm Yash will hit the Balasore district of Orissa directly with its extreme power. The cyclone Yaas speed in Balasore may reach 160 to 195 kilometers per hour. The East coast of Orissa may face massive rainfall that may cause flood surrounding areas.

26 May, at 11 AM – 12 AM: Cyclone Yaas will hit Nilagiri of Orissa. The wind speed here will be around 155 to 185 kilometers per hour, along with heavy rainfall. 

26 May, at 1 PM – 2 PM: Further, the cyclone will become weaker and move over the Kaptipada of Orissa. The storm speed in Kaptipada may reach 90 to 140 kilometers per hour with heavy rainfall.

However, the Orissa government already imposed a red alert for those areas probably to affect much. All those high alert areas in Odisha are Khantapada, Bahanaga, Khannagar, Nilagiri, Balasore, Chandipur, Nilagiri, Remuna, Soro, Kaptipada, etc.

In the meantime, from 9 AM to 10 AM, the cyclone may pass by the Digha, Mandarmani, and Ramnagar in West Bengal. The storm Yash speed in Digha may reach 90 to 130 kilometers per hour.  Yaas cyclone Kolkata time maybe around 9 AM to 12 AM. The cyclone Yash speed in Kolkata may reach 55 to 90 kilometers per hour.
