A serological survey will be conducted in Delhi between June 27 and July 10 and samples from 20,000 people will be analyzed for COVID-19, the Union Interior Ministry (MHA) said on Sunday.
This was decided at the meeting chaired by the Union’s Minister of the Interior, Amit Shah, attended by the Delhi Chief Minister, Arvind Kejriwal, the Minister of Health, Dr. Harsh Vardhan, LG Anil Baijal and other senior officials. At the meeting, Dr. Paul’s Committee Report on the Containment Strategy on COVID-19 in Delhi was discussed.
“The main points of the containment strategy established by Dr. Paul are new delimitation of the containment areas, strict monitoring, and control over the limits, activities within them, tracking of contacts of all infected people and quarantine of contacts, including using the Arogya Setu app, each house external containment zones should be listed and monitored, through which Delhi can get complete information and positive cases of COVID to keep them in a hospital, COVID care center or isolation at home. COVID Care Centers will be properly managed with the help of voluntary organizations / NGOs, “MHA said in an official statement.
The Home Office said that according to Dr. Paul’s report, each Delhi district will be connected to a large hospital. The Delhi government should set a plan by June 22, build district-level teams by June 23, review the delimitation of all container areas by June 26, inspect containment areas by June 30. June.
“The Delhi government should assess every death. It should say how many days before a patient died, he was taken to the hospital. If he was in the isolated home, they brought him in at the right time or not, ”he said.
