Delhi Woman Kills Husband Over Suspicion Of Affairs

A 31-year-old woman was arrested for allegedly killing her husband on suspicion of having extramarital affairs with other women in the Nihal Vihar area outside Delhi, police said Sunday.

The woman, identified as Bhuvneshwari Devi aka Pinky, also alleged that her husband of 35 years, Anil Sahu, who ran a placement agency, used to beat her, they said.

To get rid of him, she along with a Raj, with whom she was also having an affair, hatched a conspiracy to kill him and then tried to fool investigators by telling a false story, police said.
They said the defendant, Raj, has been at large and that raids are underway to arrest him.

According to the police, Sahu’s body with multiple injuries to his face, head, and neck was found in his home on June 3 and during the investigation, his wife told police that he was killed by two unknown persons who had come to receive it. However, no information or clue was found to identify them.

Subsequently, it was found that five people, including the victim’s wife, his two minor children, and two maids, were present at his home at the time of the incident, but none of them could reveal anything related to the incident, which was suspect, an old man. said the police officer.

Deputy Police Commissioner (exterior) Parvinder Singh said: “During the inspection, we found some wounds on his wife’s body and hands. There were also some slight marks on the clothes she was wearing, but she was not ready to reveal anything about the incident and frequently changed his statements. ”

However, after sustained questioning, he told the police that there was a long-standing dispute between them, which is why he had also filed a case against Sahu last year at the Dhanwar Police Station in Jharkhand. But after reaching a compromise, they began living together, DCP said.

“She revealed that discord developed again between them when she learned that her husband had illicit relationships with other women. This led to frequent fights between them and he often beat her. She also later became involved in a relationship with Raj. and when she could no longer bear her husband’s atrocities, she called Raj and hatched a conspiracy to eliminate her husband, “DCP said.

Giving details of the incident, the woman told police that on the night of June 2, after Sahu returned home from work, she gave him sleeping pills with dinner according to her plan and she and Raj tied him up.

As the duo prepared to kill him, he woke up. A fight ensued between him and Raj, during which she took Sahu’s hands and killed him, after which Raj fled the scene, she said.
