West Bengal BJP President Dilip Ghosh. (Proceedings)
A day after calling for revenge against the ruling TMC for allegedly carrying out a policy of revenge against BJP leaders and workers, Bengal BJP President Dilip Ghosh said Sunday that violence was the only way to solve the problems. The comments elicited a strong reaction from TMC leaders.
Referring to the recent conflict between the armies of India and China in Ladakh, Ghosh told reporters: “If someone thinks they can resist violence by chanting mantras, people will call that person a coward.” These people only talk about forgiving people. They talk that there is no need for violence. But in reality, no problem was solved without violence worldwide. Even today there was violence against China. If we continue to say “Hindi Chini Bhai Bhai”, they will recapture our land. So we have to speak in a language that the other person understands. ”
On Saturday, the BJP leader and the deputy from Medinipur had said: “The TMC came to power and said there will be no revenge. But in the past nine years, he has only pursued the policy of revenge. More than 100 BJP workers have been killed in recent years. Once we come to power, we will take revenge on these anti-social and corrupt officials. We believe in paying with the same currency ”.
Hitting Ghosh, TMC MP Kalyan Banerjee said: “TMC represents peace. We don’t need conferences from BJP leaders. They know who had killed Gandhi ji. By falling into violence, his party came to power in Gujarat. Here only peace prevails.
TMC chief leader and state minister Firhad Hakim branded BJP leaders as terrorists. “They are a group of terrorists. They belong to a terrorist team. Like the Taliban and Jaish-e-Mohammed, who know nothing but to fall into violence and kill people, they have the same teachings, “said Hakim.
