The latest announcement came directly from Giant Bomb contributor Jeff Grubb on a recent episode GrubbSnax. Where he revealed that it’s “at least 18 months away”. Although it may appear like a long time. The show also talked about how everything is going according to plan and that the game is “hitting all its milestones” and expect to launch in time.
Grubb said that the game has developed since the beginning of 2017. Reports have misinterpreted Grubb’s words from the show to mean that Dragon Age 4 is scheduled to release in the next 18 months.

However, in reality, he was saying that it will take at the very least 18 months before fans even get to see it.
This is similar to a recent insider report suggesting that there is no chance Dragon Age 4 will be released before 2022 and means it’ll be released in Q4 of 2023 at most.
It is good news, as it means gamers. Who haven’t purchased a new console will stand a better chance of getting one. This is important for those who are players of the game because BioWare has stated that it is not making a new game like Dragon Age 4 for consoles that are last-gen as it wants to ensure that the game’s design will be like a top-quality game and run as well as it could.
There isn’t much information about Dragon Age 4 yet, though the details are still circulating. The developer BioWare has stated that they are working to create the “single-player focused experience” that’s Dragon Age 4 and has eased the fears of those hoping to make it to the new Anthem.

Concept art recently revealed two dragons in the background. Which has caused some players to believe that there are two archdemons in the game. It’s just concept art for sure, but it shows that the level of excitement for the game is already high.
