Earthquake hits the Andaman and Nicobar islands
An earthquake measuring 4.1 on the Richter scale was felt Monday in the Andaman and Nicobar Islands. According to the National Center for Seismology (NCS), the tremors from the earthquake were felt 258 km south-southeast of Portblair at 7.23 pm.
The depth of the earthquake was 10 km.
So far, no reports of damage have surfaced.
