EC File FIR Against 13 Polling Agent for Refusing to go to the voting duty

According to the North Dinajpur District Election Department on Wednesday, the training for voting in the West Bengal Assembly Elections has been held in different phases. Those polling workers who could not attend the training on time were subsequently given special training, but more than one polling worker was not present. They did not respond even after sending a notice, they were protested. But Showcase’s response was also unsatisfactory. That is why an FIR has been lodged with Raiganj Police Station under three sections, including the Representative of Public Act, against 13 voters for being absent from the polling station. A complaint has been lodged against 10 teachers of different schools in the district, including an assistant professor of Raiganj University and Kaliaganj College. In this election, 3,006 booths have been set up in 9 assembly constituencies of the district. More than 15,000 polling staff have been deployed at these polling stations.
