Edge of Eternity

Edge of Eternity: Three years after early access was available, Edge of Eternity officially was released on PC at the beginning of this year.

After a few months of fixing a few issues with the launch and optimizing for other platforms, the long-awaited JRPG will finally be available on consoles in the coming year.

Edge of Eternity will release on PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X/S this February 10, 2022. Additionally, edge of Eternity for Nintendo Switch will be released on February 10, 2022.

Nintendo Switch version launches two weeks later on February 23. The only drawback to this release is that it’s only accessible via cloud streaming.

It is not playable on Nintendo’s hardware in native mode. However, the console version will come with all the PC version’s upgrades. This includes Japanese voiceovers that will be officially accessible on the PC and consoles on February 10.

Edge of Eternity was developed by Midgar Studio and published by Dear Villagers. Both companies are located in France. The project draws a lot of inspiration from Japanese game-based role-playing.

The studio’s love for JRPGs led to the creation of collaboration in collaboration with Yasunori Mitsuda, a Japanese composer who is best recognized as the composer behind Chrono Trigger and Xenoblade Chronicles.
