European customers can now sign up to buy the PS5 directly through Sony

European PS5 buyers can now register directly with Sony.: In October, Sony made it clear that it would offer gamers the chance to sign up to purchase the PlayStation 5 directly from the company.

It wasn’t the only effort to get around the issue of stock on the console. November began transporting PlayStation 5s to the U.K. in anticipation of the holiday rush.

Still, it offered reassurance to those who could not find one elsewhere.

One issue it had to face was that the promotion was only available to U.S. residents.

This is no more the case. European PlayStation fans, specifically those who reside within Europe, specifically in the U.K., Germany, France, and France, the Netherlands, Belgium, and Luxembourg, can now sign up for the service on their own.

European PS5 buyers can now register directly with Sony.

The same restrictions that affected U.S. applicants apply here: Sony states that it offers “a small number” of PS5s available for purchase.

Registering does not guarantee that you will purchase a console. And registered users restricted only to just one PS5 for each family.

Sony also offers a highly blunt argument to back up these issues: “Registering more than once isn’t going to increase your chance of being chosen.”

Anyone who wants to sign up should also be quick to register when receiving an email confirmation.

The website states: “Your purchase window is only available for a short period only, and only while supplies last.”

However, it’s an excellent option for those in the U.S. and parts of Europe. Who hasn’t had the chance to buy the PS5 at this point? Because PS5 is likely to be unavailable until 2022, It’s worth the risk.
