“Hitler, too, gave jobs to his lackeys. What did he give you?” According to Mr. Kejriwal, “Whether you like it or not, Kejriwal is also good for you.” “If someone in your family is sick, Kejriwal will give you medicine, not Modi.” “Open your eyes, leave the BJP, and join the AAP,” Delhi’s Chief Minister went on to say.
Later in his speech, Mr. Kejriwal attacked the BJP for wanting to make The Kashmir Files tax-free in the national capital.
“Why do you want us to make it tax-free? If you’re really interested, ask Vivek Agnihotri to upload it on YouTube for free. Everyone can see it in a day. What’s the point of making it tax-free? “Mr. Kejriwal made the remarks amid laughter and desk thumping by Delhi assembly members.
Finally, he said that even though PM Modi has been in charge of the country for eight years, he has to “use a movie for political gains.”
PM Modi had already praised the movie, saying that it shook the “whole ecosystem,” which claims to be a torchbearer of free speech but doesn’t want the truth to be told.
The Kashmir Files, which is based on the exodus of Kashmiri Pandits from the Kashmir Valley because of terrorism, has caused controversy in the country.
The opposition complained that it was “one-sided” and criticized the portrayal of extreme violence while the BJP-ruled states extended tax breaks and gave government employees leave to see it.
Most BJP-ruled states have proclaimed the film tax-free, including Uttar Pradesh, Tripura, Goa, Haryana, Gujarat, and Uttarakhand.
The Delhi BJP hit back at the Chief Minister because of what he said, calling him out. It shows that Delhi BJP chief Adesh Gupta doesn’t care about the pain of Kashmiri Pandits, he said.
“In the past, the AAP backed the idea of a plebiscite by Kashmiri separatists.
As a result, he (Mr. Kejriwal) cannot be expected to express his gratitude for the film The Kashmir Files. “According to the Press Trust of India, he said.
