Fear of another ISIS attack on Kabul airport

Fear of another ISIS attack on Kabul airport: US Intelligence Sources.

The United States has launched a drone strike in response to a militant attack on the Kabul airport. After that, some of the detectives began to express doubts about the counterattack.

This time, US President Joe Biden voiced his fears of another terror attack on the Kabul airport. On Saturday, he said, the next 24 to 36 hours were extremely dangerous.

He said the rescue operation for US citizens of Afghanistan was coming to an end under the August 31 agreement.

Then the United States will withdraw its troops from Afghanistan. Biden fears that there may be another attack on the airport before then.

Hours earlier, the United States National Security Agency (NSA) warned American citizens to evacuate the area around the Kabul airport.

However, the United States has made it clear to American citizens that they should not travel to the airport in any way at this time and that they should not stop near the gates of the Kabul airport.

Biden said in a statement after a meeting with the National Security Team that Friday’s attack on the Islamic State in Khorasan was not the last.

“The situation at the Kabul airport is dire, and there is a possibility of another attack by militants,” he said. The attack could take place in the next 24 to 36 hours.

Incidentally, 78 people were killed in an explosion at the Kabul airport last Thursday. Thirteen US soldiers were also killed in the incident.

According to some media reports, some 200 people were killed in the blast.

After the incident, US President Joe Biden said: “We will not forget anything, we will not forgive. We will find him and respond to this attack.”

Less than 48 hours after the incident, the United States launched a drone strike against the Islamic State stronghold.

The attacker struck shortly afternoon in front of a police recruitment center in Kabul.

Meanwhile, US troops withdraw from Afghanistan on August 31. The Pentagon says there are currently 4,000 soldiers stationed at the Kabul airport.

American citizens are being repatriated from Afghanistan. Joe Biden, however, said that the United States has a ‘Plan B.’ Although the Taliban issued a clear warning, the August 31 date is final.

Otherwise, the United States will suffer the consequences. In the general context of this, Biden’s concern about the explosion appears to be very significant.
