What exactly is the Iron Banner?
Iron Banner is a Destiny 2 PvP mode that is only available for a short period. Unlike most other PvP choices in the game, the Power level is essential, and the greater your power, the more damage you can deal and the minor damage you can take.
The mode is currently centered around a match type called Rift, simply a capture the flag game with a neutral flag in the middle of the map.
Two six-player teams will compete to transport the neutral objective to the opposing Rift and put it there. The first team will win the contest to accomplish this five times.
