Former US President Barack Obama announced on Monday (March 14, 2022) that he had tested positive for the coronavirus and had been suffering from a scratchy throat for several days.

Obama also announced on Twitter that her wife, Michelle, had tested negative for the virus.

“I just got a COVID test result. I’ve had a scratchy throat for a few days, but otherwise, I’m good. Michelle and I are thankful to have been vaccinated and boosted, and she has tested negative for the disease, “Obama, the 44th president of the United States, stated.

Prime Minister Narendra Modi responded to the post by wishing Obama a speedy recovery.
