Fortnite 21.10 Update Adds Lightsabers Naruto Cosmetics and More: The Fortnite 21.10 update has begun rolling out across all platforms, and data miners have already disclosed that Darth Vader will introduce to the island, and lightsabers will be returning. In addition, Naruto cosmetics will be arriving in the Item Shop in the coming weeks.

The Fortnite 21.10 update will first and foremost see the renowned Sith Lord, Darth Vader, make his way onto the island, weighing in at 10.2 GB on PC. It’s unknown where Vader will situate at the time of writing. But he’ll operate as a ‘boss’ on the map, hostile to players approaching within a certain radius of him.

In this update, hostile Stormtroopers have added to the game files, and they will wear the Imperial Stormtrooper skin.

These don’t look to be the hostile parties who will be returning to the island anytime soon. The Mewoscles NPC and The Order NPC have also added to the game files in this version. According to fire monkey, but there’s no news on when they’ll be available in-game.

Files sometimes include in updates, only to unlock later that week or the next week, just before the next update.

The reappearance of lightsabers as weapons will be part of the update to commemorate the advent of the heavy-breathing Jedi-gone-bad. Unfortunately, only Darth Vader’s and Obi-Wan’s lightsabers seem to be available, and they will discover in black chests with red stripes across the top.

According to fire monkey, the E-11 Blaster Rifle will also return since it has re-added to the game files with the two lightsabers.

It expect to function similarly to how lightsabers have traditionally worked in Fortnite, enabling players to deflect incoming gunfire and projectiles back at the sender while also using it as a formidable melee weapon.
