Frustrated Constable’s open fire kills 5 BSF jawans, one seriously injured.
5 Border Security Force (BSF) officers were killed in the Khasa BSF area in Punjab’s Amritsar on Sunday in a fight with each other, the Indian government says.
At least five people were hurt when Ct Satteppa S K, a member of the BSF, opened fire on his colleagues, shooting at them.
The BSF said five people were hurt, but four of them died. One of them is in a critical condition. The injured person is now at a local hospital.

The BSF also said that Ct Satteppa S K died in the accident.
In a statement, the BSF said that five BSF troops were hurt on March 6, 2022, when Ct Satteppa S K killed himself at HQ 144 Bn Khasa, Amritsar.
Ct Satteppa S K also got hurt in the accident. One soldier named Ct Satteppa is among the five troops who have died. One of the injured is very important.
The BSF said a court of inquiry had been set up to find out the truth.
