The defendants in the writ petition are Secretary for Posts and Telecommunications, Chairman of BTRC, Secretary for Education, Minister for Home Affairs, Secretary for Legal Affairs, Secretary for Health, Inspector General of Police, and persons involved, including Bangladesh Bank.

According to the petitioner’s lawyer, Humayun Kabir, youth and children have become addicted to games like Pubg and Free Fire. 

As a result, social values, education, culture are being destroyed, and future generations have become incompetent. These games seem to focus on the training of young people in violence.

On the other hand, children and adolescents carry out various immoral activities using TikTok and like applications.
