Genshin Impact Ayato Support Build Guide: Kamisato Ayato, a DPS character in Genshin Impact, is an undisputed powerhouse. His stats and Elemental Skill allow him to slice through his opponents with a grace that befits the Yashiro Commission.
However, he’s more versatile than you might think. He can also be used as a Support character, providing an easy trigger for Elemental Reactions using his Elemental Burst. This is how to make Ayato a Support character in Genshin Impact.
Genshin Impact Ayato Support Build Guide
To build Ayato as a Support character, focus on Elemental Masters to increase damage from his Burst with Elemental Reactions. You can also invest in the Hydro Damage bonus, Cri Rate Percentage, and Energy Recharge.
His Crit Damage Percentage will naturally increase with his ascending, giving his Burst a chance to pack more punch when used.
With all of this in mind, here are the best weapons and artifact sets for Ayato:
- Freedom Sworn
- Ayato’s damage is doubled at maximum refinement. Ayato also gains a Sigil of Rebellion for triggering Elemental Reactions even if he is not there. All nearby party members will receive a buff upon achieving two Sigils for Rebellion. This increases their Normal, Charged, and Plunging Attack Damage by 32 percent and Attack by 40% for 12 seconds.
- Set of two Emblems of Severed Fate Artifacts
- Ayato’s energy recharge is increased by 20%.
- Two-piece Noblesse Oblige Artifact Set
- 20% increases Ayato’s Elemental Burst Damage.
Ayato’s best team
Ayato and your team will blend well if you choose characters that can trigger multiple Elemental Responses and Ayato’s Burst. Genshin Impact has many characters to choose from. But there are a few characters that stand out.
- Shenhe
- When Shenhe uses her Elemental Burst to create an area-of-effect Cryo field, it triggers the Freeze Elemental Reaction when combined using Ayato’s Burst. Shenhe also receives an increase in her damage output for dealing with enemies affected by Cryo.
- Kaedehara Kazuha
- Kazuha’s Burst can create an Anemo domain with area-of-effect, which can be infused with Hydro when combined to deal with Hydro Damage continuously. You can also invest it with Cryo through Shenhe or Electro through Yae. However, it can only take on one element’s properties at a given time. Kazuha’s Burst is an excellent option to trigger Elemental Reactions.
- Yae Miko
- Yae Miko can use her Elemental Skill to cause Electro Damage by leaving Electro totems all over the field. The Supercharged reaction will be activated when an enemy comes in contact with Hydro. This will temporarily stun them and deal damage for a brief period.
