Gujarat: night curfew in 4 metropolitan cities extended until February 28
To curb the spread of the coronavirus, the Gujarat government announced on Monday that the night curfew imposed on four major cities in the state – Ahmedabad, Surat, Vadodara and Rajkot – will run until the end of this month (February 28).
The duration of the night curfew has been further shortened by one hour, from 11:00 p.m. to 6:00 a.m. and from 12:00 p.m. to 6:00 a.m.
“A night curfew will be imposed in four Gujarat metropolitan cities from midnight to 6 am from February 16 to 28,” said Pankaj Kumar, additional chief secretary of the State Department of the Interior.
