The notification issued by the state government in January 2020 asked the authorities to begin surveillance by verifying the travel history of people in the state and to inform the epidemic wing if anyone with a history of travel to China in recent years is found. 14 days.

Speaking about discussions related to Governor Acharya Devvrat’s speech, Chavda said the state government tried to hide Covid-related figures and transferred officials who expressed fear over prevailing conditions.

“It was the Gujarat High Court that intervened and asked the government to reduce the prices of Covid tests, in private laboratories,” said the congressional leader.
