Imphal, February 14: Unidentified people threw a hand grenade inside the office of a major Manipuri newspaper in Keishampat in Manipur’s Imphal West district on Saturday night, police said.
However, the grenade thrown at ‘Poknapham’ office did not explode.
State police bomb experts removed the explosive weapon from the scene.
A search operation has been launched to uncover those responsible for the incident, police said.
No arrests were made for this reason until late at night.
