Khattar has said that some people are mobilizing just to “protest” against the Center’s agricultural laws, reflecting their “political intent”. However, he said the Center will be ready for any amendments to the laws if necessary.
Commenting on the agitation against farm laws, Khattar said the Center is clearly of the view that all three laws benefit farmers and will give a boost to the agricultural sector.
The development comes as farmers, especially from Haryana and neighboring Punjab, have been protesting on the Delhi border for more than two months, demanding that the government withdraw the three laws that they say threaten the minimum price guarantee and they would open the door to corporate control of the agricultural sector. .
