How Election Process Will Run in West Bengal During Covid 19

The commission said that these guidelines have to be followed to ensure successful elections in Bengal like in Bihar.

This is the first time in the state. Earlier, this nodal officer was appointed during the Bihar elections. Note that the secretary of the health building will be appointed to this post. Specific rules must be followed during the voting process.
Candidates could go to the Returning Officer together with their agents and staff at the time of submission of nominations, the commission said. Covid cannot approach more than two returning officers at a time for the situation. Candidates will not be able to march when it comes to submitting nomination papers. Instead, candidates can submit nomination papers with 10 or 20 candidates. Although this number will be determined by the local administration.
There are also multiple rules for voting. Voters must wear gloves. Must use mask and sanitizer. On the other hand, those who come to vote do not have to stand in line if their temperature is higher than 104 degrees Fahrenheit. Instructions have also been issued today to ensure that these rules are properly communicated to candidates and voters.
