The Council for School Certification Examinations of India (CISCE) canceled the Class 10 Board Exams (ICSE) as the number of COVID-19 cases is seeing a massive increase in India. However, the ISC Class 12 board exams remain deferred, and the dates for which will be released later, per the council circular.

However, due to the rapid increase in COVID 19 cases in the country, the ICSE Board Exam 2021 was canceled, and the ISC exams were postponed. The ISC board will decide on the revised dates of the ISC 2021 exams in June 2021. Previously, the student urges the board to reconsider the CISCE Board Exam 2021.

The official CISCE announcement reads: “Given the current worsening of the COVID 19 pandemic in the country, the CISCE has decided to CANCEL the ICSE (Class X) 2021 exam. The options given in the previous circular, dated April 16, 2021, are now retired. The safety and well-being of our students and teachers is our highest priority and in our highest interest ”.
