Bihar has put helicopters in operation to track the manufacturing of illicit liquor and trade within Bihar’s state.
The Bihar government has previously used drones for hunting bootleggers to intensify the crackdown on violations of the prohibition policies of Bihar.
To stop liquor smugglers operating in the state and to stop liquor smugglers, the Bihar government has used helicopters.

In the past, Bihar government in December 2021 had deployed drones to check on the illicit trade in liquor within Bihar.
Officials from the Bihar’s Department of Prohibition and Excise yesterday boarded a helicopter and toured Patna and its areas to monitor the area.
Chief Minister Nitish Kumar visited the helicopter at Patna airport in the morning.
The officials from the Prohibition Department briefed the Chief Minister on the measures that were being taken to arrest the suspect.
This liquor restriction was issued by the Nitish Kumar government on April 6 the 6th of April, 2016.
