India got off to a good start in the second Test in Chennai against England, but the opening day also had its fair share of drama on the pitch. Towards the end of Day 1, Rishabh Pant refused to hit after having an altercation with Ben Stokes.
The final 87th of the Indian innings saw a little joke when Stokes was seen having a lively chat with Pant.
After the conversation, Pant didn’t take his guard for a while and was seen looking back and saying something to Stokes.
It is not clear what the content of the conversation was. Both referees had to intervene to solve the matter.

Meanwhile, starter Rohit Sharma broke 161, while other first-order hitters from India fell cheaply, helping the home team build to 300-6 on the opening day of the second game against England at MA Chidambaram Stadium. from Chennai on Saturday.
