Indian Idol 12 Aditya Narayan Tests Positive For COVID-19
Indian Idol 12 host Aditya Narayan announced that he and his wife, Shweta Agarwal, have tested positive for coronavirus. Post that, fans have been wondering who would host Indian Idol 12 in Aditya’s absence. This week we have Jay Bhanushali who has taken his place, but Aditya will not be returning next week as well. Now, according to ETimes reports, Rithvik Dhanjani will be replacing Aditya Narayan as host of Indian Idol 12. Rithvik Dhanjani has hosted various reality shows including India’s Best Dramebaaz, Nach Baliye 7, and Super Dancer. Rithvik Dhanjani confirmed the news to times. He said that he will host Indian Idol 12 for just one weekend for Aditya.
He will shoot on April 5 and has previously worked with the judges, Neha Kakkar, Vishal Dadlani, and Himesh Reshammiya. He also said that his approach towards the show will be on a fan, as his parents follow the show religiously. He also said that it will be as it is and has not done any preparation. Rithvik believes in enjoying what he does. Rithvik Dhanjani had recently been to the Maldives and was tested for COVID-19. He said, “I took the test yesterday and it was negative.” Earlier today, Aditya Narayan took to Instagram to share that she tested positive. He wrote: “Hello everyone! Unfortunately, my wife @shwetaagarwaljha and I have tested positive for Covid-19 and are in quarantine. Please stay safe, continue to follow protocol and keep us in your prayers. This will pass too ❤️” Shweta Agarwal also republished Aditya’s post.
Not only Aditya Narayan, actors like Rupali Ganguly, Aashish Mehrotra, Abrar Qazi, Narayani Shastri, Kanchi Singh, Sudhanshu Pandey, and even producer Rajan Shahi have tested positive for coronavirus. The deadly virus is spreading once again and we all need to be very careful once again.
